Deals · for hunters
When a borrower defaults, their collateral goes to a Dutch auction. The price starts above market and falls automatically, until someone decides it's a deal.
How a Dutch auction works
Wait too long and someone else takes it. Buy too early and you overpaid. The first buyer wins, instantly, on-chain.
Why deals exist at all
Stormbit loans don't liquidate, so the only way collateral reaches the market is when a borrower chooses not to repay at expiry. The put has already protected the lender to the floor; the auction recovers the rest.
No order books, no negotiation, no insider flow. Just a clock, a curve, and whoever moves first.
